UUV Electromagnetic Communications Guide

Underwater electromagnetic communications are not a lane I have worked in firsthand, and I am not going to pretend otherwise. This is a weak area for me. The moment you move comms into seawater, the physics and the practical constraints stop behaving like what most of us are used to, and I had to rebuild my understanding from the basics.

I wrote a short guide to force that learning curve to happen, and I am putting it on my site as a reference for anyone else who wants a clean starting point. It is the research I did to understand the math, the tradeoffs, and what tends to break when you leave lab conditions and deal with real-world water.
